1971 ? I distinctly remember having to unscrew cell lids and check water levels on my cars in the 80's. And they were cars built in the 80's.

R31 Skyline (RB30), Brown, Manual, Wagon. :D
The higher limits of an R8 could be negated by a poor driver. The lower limits of a CR-V could be enhanced by a skilled driver. You can’t pick and chose your speed limits.
They are to remind you that you’re at the end of the passing zone and to be back on your side of the road.
Or have a 61,000 mile, 1981 Talbot Lotus Sunbeam 2.2, 215bhp. £27,995.
According to the Deutsche Bank expose this past week (confirming what everybody knew all along), specifically Russian oil companies.
Most ugly? I dispute that, because as much as I love it, the MG Metro 6r4 looks like a Metro got stuck in a pile of boxes.
This car is peak 80’s.
I would argue the packaging aspects of a flat-6. They are very wide, which leads to serious packaging issues. For a FWD car you either have to put the entire engine ahead of the front axle(and live with a really bad weight distribution), or have the rear cylinder bank shoved up against the firewall and live with…
The weight argument doesn’t hold.
Can you explain your thinking about why they would be “much” heavier?
Why are I6's heavier? I don’t know enough about engines but I would think a V6 needs twice as many cams, heads, more complicated timing belt/chain layout cooling lines etc. Does that not add extra weight?
It’s pretty common in the MGBGT community.
A late 80's 928 is still better looking compared to the Panamera.
I’d rather see a 944 revival... preferably priced below the boxster.
I love Christian because hes one of the few folks who is doing something purposeful with his life, however, I’ve been wondering through the years if he needs to be working on cars for the people instead of just focusing on cars for the rich. I’m interesting in seeing what would happen if their entire philosophy to…
Yes and no. It was actually the later incarnation of the same project, under the name Aerovette that was to have the wankel engine.
Well no one in their right mind will compare this ugly and proportioned thing to the GT, which is one of the most amazing looking cars today.
I personally love it, its a sound pedestrian vehicles dont make. I couldnt differentiate half the “muscley” V8s posted in here from an 88 Monte Carlo that the muffler rusted off of.
Transversely mounted FTW.
