This is literally like something you would see on 30 Rock. (One of them has to be Asian, can they be good at their jobs?)

I bet Adam Guettel's work was amazing, it's a shame it'll never be heard.

I've been musing lately that I'd really like to see a married person on a TV show make a friend of the opposite gender without it turning into a whole temptation thing. People can be close with more than one person!

Kristina mentioned Haddie in concept! She made an offhand remark about her daughter walking alone or something during the debate, so she cares about safety and can she be mayor now, please? (Although I suppose it's possible she was talking about Nora, and this is a set-up for some "Mayoral Candidate Lets Toddler

With the music and everything I often had a hard time sitting still watching this episode. I LOVE TELEVISION!

There's a few reasons that PBS doesn't worry too much about it, mostly because it does just fine here already, the main PBS audience for it not being tremendously up on spoilers or the latest methods for procuring it illegally. Also, they don't have to fight as much to do publicity when it airs in the less

This Alex Gansa interview seems to suggest it's been a ruse all along, all the way back to Saul leaking that Carrie was sleeping with Brody. Hmmmm. . . http://insidetv.ew.com/2013…

I feel like we'll get there with something (maybe Mom?) sooner or later this season.

You would think that Homeland would've learned from SMASH that naming your teenage boy Leo is a recipe for disaster. And that was even in the early, highly watched episodes!

No worries. THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW.

I should point out that these shows are already sold out, and that the songs from Hit List did have some real stand outs, and a lot of the staging we saw on the show was pretty cool (though I doubt it will be reproduced). Whatever hints we got at the book were pretty godawful, though.

A "DID SALEM THE CAT FROM SABRINA TEENAGE WITCH CO-WRITE THIS EPISODE?" UPDATE:

It's interesting that the review brings up Season 3 of LOST, because while I mostly liked the execution and some of the dialogue in this episode, I'm definitely getting a little bit of a "Let's stick our characters in cages they can't escape from to slow the story down!" vibe from this episode. I could start to draw

I was kind of glad she didn't force everyone to wear super sexy versions of the animal costumes, at least.

I would imagine they were running long at that point, and only had time to air a short spot.

Sam's totally right, The Jerk is way more consistently funny than Caddyshack.

Why would they put them up on Netflix in airing order? Whoever made that decision is dumb.

Why aren't we talking about the fact that the guy who voiced Salem the cat on Sabrina the Teenage Witch is Executive Producer and shared credit for the Teleplay on this episode? I'm aware that he's had a long history working on various sitcoms in many capacities. BUT SALEM THE CAT CO-WROTE THIS EPISODE.

I don't think the score is very Broadway razzmatazz style. I think I read somewhere that it's all electronic music? You can hear some of it on the video for the Kickstarter project: http://www.kickstarter.com/…

I do wonder if they're setting up Diane to be off the show for at least a little while, since Christine Baranski is filming Into the Woods in England right now.
