I haven't watched this episode or read this review yet, but I'm just here to point out that that photo is of Jeremy Jordan, not Joey Castoro, as it is captioned, unless he's taken up a stage name to disassociate himself from SMASH that I don't know about.

I will watch every single episode of this show convinced that it is about to turn the corner (it never will) until it is cancelled, when I will inexplicably be a little bit sad that it never got to live up to its full potential.

Any of the 4 episodes of the PBS kids show Ghostwriter featuring the Slime Monster. That arc caused me to not be able to fall asleep unless an adult was in the room for years.

It seems like The Good Wife might be on a 7 season plan, because they're changing up their title gimmick this season, it looks like. They number of words in episode titles had corresponded with the season of the show, but all the episode titles listed for season 5 so far have 3 words, indicating they may be counting

Aidy Bryant was bumped up from featured to regular, along with Cecily and McKinnon, so I wouldn't expect her to go anywhere anytime soon.

Exposé as filler? Maybe, but if all filler could make me as energized as that kind of filler does, TV would be a much better place.

The idea of putting the voice of the "bad fan" into the episode played really beautifully in the moment, I think, but I'm not sure if it's sitting incredibly well with me afterwards. I do think that having it so that even Walt himself doesn't really fully believe it is a fascinating choice with lots of stuff to unpack

I don't know if I'm just a sucker for big tough guys showing emotion, but I thought Lavell Crawford gave a really really excellent performance as Huell tonight. I felt genuine pathos for him!

This was fine, I guess, but I'm kind of baffled that everyone on the internet is going on about how Patton Oswalt changed the game and redefined how we look at Twitter and how it all works.

I always felt she was well cast, but her limited range started to show a bit throughout the series, and if we had to lose anyone, she's probably the one I would pick. So I'm not TOO heartbroken over this.

Are you attempting some kind of profound statement about how the rapid-fire dialogue of Gilmore Girls masks that the characters don't know how to express what they actually feel and it is therefore devoid of meaning or did someone forget to finish this article?

Well, I personally think that's a crappy tagline for Duck Dynasty, because it has no internal consistency. If you're gonna change one R sound to a W sound, you should change ALL the R sounds to W sounds. You would have to change the season to be about the cast trying to lease something called the Quackin', but it

The phenomenon of not being on board with something everyone else seems to love is fascinating to me, especially the psychology of someone who continues on with a TV show (or the works of a particular author/director, etc.) everyone loves out of obligation or something and feels resentment building so much that you

Well, that was certainly carefully worded!

Those damn publishers who think books with initials will sell better to boys than books with ladynames on the cover pulled one over on us all!

When I was super young the Slime Monster arc on Ghostwriter on PBS scared me so much that I couldn't fall asleep without an adult in the room for YEARS. Never told them why, either, until I reached adulthood.

ABC had like 3 shows that were effectively killed by the writer's strike, Daisies, Eli Stone (which I liked well enough. Victor Garber musical numbers!) and Dirty Sexy Money all had first seasons cut short by the strike that they never recovered from in the ratings when they came back to essentially fill out their

And that's not even getting into all the late night shows that came back without writers to keep the crew employed. Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart fought Conan O'Brien!

Big Bang Theory is kind of fascinating to me because it somehow manages to be both overpraised and overhated. This was indeed a strong year for it, and I'd imagine that it's wide viewership (even among TV critics compared to some of the other nominees) combined with the rise in quality for the year is probably what

It's like they're doing a beautifully choreographed quirkily themed dance ON ITS GRAVE!
