Starring and replying because... this is the way.

I can’t be the only one thinking that M3GAN looks... kind of terrible, right?

You are technically correct... the best kind of correct.

Counter-counterpoint: the current/recent Gillen, Ribic, Wilson run has actually been really good, with its focus on where the place of the Eternals actually is in the current state of things (very meta, in many ways, but subtly so) and the ways in which it actually gives them character (something the film sorely

Yeah, I think I have to agree. Not “bad” but... the final scene of Shuri on the beach on her own, with it all finally hitting her, was a great ending. That felt right. This just felt... tacked on.

Having now seen it (and enjoyed it) I feel like a better title would have been Pinocchio: Meditations on Mortality.

I enjoy how Ashley Burch, when she gets really excited, immediately turns into Tiny Tina.

It will be, if it needs to be, essentially.

WAR! HUH! YEAH!

It’s funny you say that, as I’ve seen a few people claiming (with great confidence) that “only Gunn really *gets* Drax’s character” and their proof of that is... GotG 2 and the Holiday Special (because apparently he wasn’t right in IW).

Next you’ll be telling me there’s a repeating signal hidden in the return data that’s slowly cycling down to...

Same. Wonderful books. A real loss.

Oh, c’mon Chris, Love & Thunder wasn’t that bad...

When talking about Winston Duke’s career I wish people mentioned Nine Days more. It never got the coverage, or the love, it deserved, but it’s one of my favourite films and he is spellbinding in it. The sort of performance that should have won him an Oscar (if the Oscars weren’t an insular clique more interested in

In this house we refer to him as The Arbiter, or Mr Arbiter!

Joe instead imagines a future where you can interrupt a 3D, artificially intelligent version of Tom Cruise mid-scene and ask him how he performed his stunts, all from the comfort of your own home. (No, seriously.) “Whether we like it or not, the advent of AI, the advent of three-dimensional projectors that don’t

Have we considered the possibility that “He Who Shall Not Be Given Attention” in the greys might actually... be Kanye?
