Pop up up and down headlights! - Donut Media

Biggest general product problem at GM is they insist on tiered rollouts of technology. SuperCruise has to rollout on Cadillac first. Same with large infotainment screens. They did so much badge engineering and parts bin sharing that now they’ve over corrected. Top products like their trucks, SUVs, and crossovers

New Tahoe has a pimpin interior.

It is a better car in general. But a Tahoe is a better truck SUV. Depends what you want. I’ll take a BOF with a V8, but mine is called Silverado and has a bed I don’t care if it get coated in mud, and I can put my quad in and tow my boat on the same trip.

It’s like a unibody Tahoe minus a V8. What’s not to love, it’s exactly what the sedan died for.

Stage 1 93 octane tune, I see 280hp 375lb-ft ‘sport’ tune. Stage 2 300hp and 400lb-ft.

310lb-ft likely flat through the revs is going to pull hard.

The Balboni was a RWD road car was it not? Honoring their long time test driver

One thing I will say about the GM interior is they took a fantastic layout and well functioning interior and improved on it. Is the screen a little small? Sure, especially on LTZ & High Country, is the bezel around the screen a hunk of plastic? Yup. But function wise it might be the best ever.

I didn’t know about the failures, but it doesnt surprise me coming from a Chrysler product (again why the price is temping but not worth the cost.. if you know what I mean), I would most definitely be getting a GDE tune for it to wipe out the cheating re-tune they did and open it up even more

I see the merits of the backup assist, but i’m in that camp of people where i learned to backup a 25ft boat at 16 with a learners permit, backup assist just get’s in the way

Denali came along in that time, and I think Ram sort of kick started it in the early 90s

Pre 1990 sure

What’s crazy is the 2nd gen EcoDiesel is a no cost option over the 5.7 V8. You can get a crew cab diesel, 6.5ft bed, with sunroof, 9 alpine audio, 20" rims, front buckets with heaters, 8.4" nav, sunroof, sliding rear window, 3.92 rear end, 27gal tank... basically loaded other than leather, and it’s $41,000 after

Electrical issues. Rust issues. 5.7 oil issues. Questionable cloth seat durability unless you opt for ‘premium cloth’. Sure a decent truck lol.

Ram looked like a subtle design when it went on sale late 2018. Now it just blends in and looks like it could be a brand new 2020 or maybe its a 2015. The GM trucks made a statement, it was love or hate at first, and now a lot of people that didnt like the look have come around. It’s a progressive style, no matter

Function over fashion, epitomizes trucks.

It is required by law, but not all vehicles have auto leveling lights. Most are mechanically aimed with an allen key adjustment screw within the headlight assembly for horz and vert aiming. The beam of light is not supposed to be flat and parallel to the road, it is supposed to drop a set amount over a set distance

Factory HIDs or LEDs won’t autolevel with the addition of a lift kit or leveling kit. I should say, IF the truck is equipped with auto leveling headlights (i.e. units that do so on hilly roads) then you may get some adjustment out of them. But you toss a 3.5" or 6" lift on a truck and even if the lights are leveled
