Technically, yes, but your brain saw the puddle 5s before the ESC did.

I definitely get that GM themselves would want to track the differences in case one brand starts to suffer. I think it’s a great move on GMs part to offer both, honestly. I guess I answered my own question - the article writer is going to do whatever they want to make the point they are trying to make (in general).
Haha hilarious and true! For that price I want to head out to my car and start up a smooth 6 or 8cyl. The sewing machine sound of a 4cyl in my supposedly luxury car isn’t something I want to have to justify every time I start it up.
Incorrect, my Caddy CT6 can shift to normal cruise as can most others.
To be fair, the 2.0t is FAR from a lawnmower engine
If you buy an A6/5er/E-Class with a 4 cylinder, you are a poser, and I hope you hang your head in shame every time a Camry/Maxima/Impala blows your doors off at the onramp.
Dang! Even with the lawnmower engine option it seems overpriced.
I feel like I could do a lot better for 54k.
European ratings don’t cross the pond. They tow in a completely different manner that doesn’t work for our trailers and roads.
You should never use cruise control in potentially slippery conditions (near freezing, or snowy.) If the car breaks traction you could lose control of the vehicle. Snow buildup shutting the whole system down is a good thing in this sense.
Difference being they tow going 25 mph on a little bitty country road and we tow going 90 on a highway wide enough to land a jet.
Don’t be ridiculous - FAT is where flavor lives!
Your market is much different than mine, the local dealer has almost none of the old body style and I see the new ones everywhere now.
Not getting that lovin' feeling that's for sure...
Is “airplanes and canoes” the long awaited sequel to the 1987 Johns Candy masterpiece?!
This price took my breath away, and not in a good way.
It was good enough for Jon Voight!
Not even Lee Iacocca...
Said no one ever.
Counterpoint: I’m guilty of not seeing motorcyclists zipping between lanes in standstill traffic. I learned to drive in Atlanta, but upon my arrival in Northern California, I saw people on bikes splitting lanes being cut off by cars switching lanes.
