And if you need the big-rig tow truck depicted just to get it home, then had to source a 900-pound rebuilt Allison V730 at, I’d guess, about the price per pound of top round, this cheap bus could rapidly remind you of that old saying about cheap Porsches...

Why buy a wagon when there’s an SUV that offers everything a wagon does and more? SUVs can tow, offer much more ground clearance, they have several inches more suspension travel for better rides. And, they can have side impact safety without needing the door sill to come up to your chin.

Some will defend it, but the Detroit Diesel is the weak link here

Well good news, I guess. They exempted diesel RV generators from this rule. So you can still have your campground background noise even though they’re taking away our affordable, low-use backup generators.

It’s not boneheaded because you don’t understand.

The California Air Resources Board says that the average 3.5 hp generator running at a 1.8kW load for 1 hour emits as much pollution as driving a car about 150 miles

The California Air Resources Board says that the average 3.5 hp generator running at a 1.8kW load for 1 hour emits as much pollution as driving a car about 150 miles. It’s not surprising that the state wants to eliminate sales of small engines like the ones used in lawnmowers and generators.

First they came for the dirt bikes, and I did not speak out— because I was not a flatbiller.

Onan already makes small Diesel generators that fit in the same packaging as their Gasoline/LPG offerings. I’d be willing to bet that the RV industry will just stop equipping fifth wheels with Propane systems. Replace the 30# tanks with a 30 gallon Diesel tank and switch the water heater to electric and LPG furnace

I guess we’ll see a lot of 26+hp outdoor power equipment in 2024 then. Hell, they might just slap “26hp” stickers on everything and call it a day.

Rear bumper hardware is painted, definitely didn’t come from the factory that way

No Deal- He should be charging LS

(This is fairly typical among German service workers; they can be quite rude. My recommendation to American travelers is to assertively tell them to relax).

People don’t want to drive a penalty box with very few features. Guess what, those feature cost money.

I was on the market for an X5 diesel with the comfort seats, a black interior, and blue or black on the outside and were only half a dozen options across the entire country.”

car companies are still making money hand over fist prioritizing high-profit-margin vehicles and leaving everything else on the to-do-list.

2nd Gear; Let’s not forgot inflation and all that “free money” that’s been flowing from DC. The US dollar is losing value. The oil markets are based on USD, but when every other currency is rising against the dollar, a global commodity like oil will cost more USDs per unit (gallon/barrel).

Not going to touch 2nd gear, because half the people here think that dear leader can do no wrong and the other half know what the problem is, so why bother?
Neutral: We have a pretty busy travel schedule. I thought having the in-laws move to town would decrease our travel but now we’re just doing it for more leisure

More of a stretched Chevette

There’s always a contrarian and today I am that guy.
