I love that guy. I have a better link on my blog from like a year ago. He's an amazing bass player.

@Aklost: I'm not sure what the point of that last sentence is. The MacBook Air run Windows just as well as any other laptop. In fact, I know at least one person who runs Windows exclusively on a MacBook Air.

@Aklost: If you need current gen graphics in your line of work, you probably shouldn't be using a laptop.

@Settings: Making you say "WTF??" is exactly what modern art is supposed to do.

@Aklost: Are you one of those people that use 2" thick 7 lb. monstrosities? Why use a laptop at all at that point?

Escalatorâ„¢ was a registered trademark, so they couldn't use it.

@sinerge: Maybe you haven't noticed, but there's a giant mountain range between Northern and Southern Europe. Consider this the equivalent of the Panama Canal.

@Pixelologist, Esq.: An artist that wanted to use her camera for other things during those six months?

@Jeb_Hoge: Supersize Me did exactly that. They put four jars with a McDonald's burger and a bunch of other burgers and let it rot. By the end of the month an employee had to throw out all the other jars because she was grossed out. The McDonald's burger was fine.

@MrHomelessInParis: I love the Marais, especially that park (and free wifi!) That's where I'd live if I was in Paris.

@rdelfin: In many cases it's a lot easier for women. As mentioned it's way easier for women to find couches to sleep on, and get invited to dinner or parties or whatever. There's a common misconception that women can't travel alone that's mostly unfounded outside the US.

@bobofish: You misunderstand the way Schengen works. You have to be outside of Schengen for 90 days before you can reset for another 90 days in Schengen. But yeah, it's not very well enforced and you can do some trickery with entry and exit stamps.

@Aklost: Way to generalize. I travel for several months at a time and never "mooch" off anybody. I sleep in buses, trains, planes, airports, hostels, and the occasional couch that someone might offer (but I never ask). I buy groceries and cook, rarely eat out. I think there are more people like me than people you talk…

@classenmindy: Or maybe he just chooses not to follow the status quo.

@pupaboy3: The first iPhone had a metal back and it got horrible reception. That's why they switched to plastic and then glass.

I think this is almost entirely due to people walking around with naked iPhones. This baffles me, especially when Apple is giving you a free case.

@Sunburn_summer: Don't act so surprised, as stupid as it may be it's the primary incentive for many if not most consumer purchases.

@Antoine Prince: So is your reason "because it's not Apple" or "because it's Microsoft"?

It's as if a million hookers cried out in horror, and were suddenly silenced.
