@EnemaBagJones: I do the $9/mo plan and never get DVDs. I haven't seen a DVD in years.

@Minyfly: That's exactly why they're offering it right now. Everybody's going back to work or school, and revenues plummet.

That only 28,000 people used Google Wave is the reason Google shut it down in the first place.

@Andy Mesa: And the rest of his post is equally clueless.

Apparently Mr. Brown can't tell the difference between Italian and Spanish.

Amazing! Even with all of Giz blowing the curve!

Good one Giz, I'll give you that.

@magus-21: False, American is British preserved. Many of the quirks of British English are changes to original English that Americans never accepted. You'll find that American English is closer to the original.

Only a matter of time before someone creates FourSquare for people. "Bob has checked into Jane. Jane has 543 checkins." People would be all over that too.

@dallasmay: No, not 1998. The Kindle came out in 2007, so I mean 1997.

@dallasmay: I remember seeing examples of E-ink ten years before the Kindle came out.

@Dreamwriter: I don't own a TV and haven't paid for TV service in years. Even when I did I had TiVo to skip the ads. So basically, I've never had to pay to watch ads and I never plan to start.

@whosdadog: I am my admin, and there are no other features. You can't use a Google Apps account to login or share information with Google Voice, YouTube, or even use "Add to Google Calendar". GA is treated as second class citizens for all other Google properties.

And I still can't log into anything with my Google Apps account except Google Apps.

I got an invite last week and I haven't bothered. I just can't see myself paying $10/mo to see ads.
