Several years back, I happened to be at a pretty bad wreck at some races. When I got home, I saw a post about it on jalopnik, so I made a fairly detailed commente about what I saw.

I've used KeePass forever, but the heartbleed fallout may be what gets me to start using LastPass.

Also, since image annotations don't work on mobile, I'll just put this here:

I've always had issues with my inner ear, and the front view of this plane has always looked the way I feel when I blow my nose.

I spent all day looking up "The __ best alternatives to Google analytics!" lists.

Welp, you've been a hell of a commenter. I'd like to say Giz & co will be quieter without you, but I don't read the comments much anymore anyway, so...

What causes repeating DNA? Is human DNA more "efficient" because of having less repetition?

"I love you, but not literally."

Press ass, indeed.

Before that moment, someone hadn't yet clicked "run simulation".

It seems like I should be reading NWS broadcasts more often. (OK. The NHC. Do I get partial credit?)

I'm most excited that I might finally get a screen that my cat won't claw through. Then again, she's kind of derpy and eats cobwebs, so...

This image makes me incredibly anxious.

Perfectly-timed article, Ashley! I just got out of training for a program that has to download a file. The way to measure progress? Go to the file location and constantly refresh to see the file size change.

The joke's on all of us. This actually is real, and these guys really are promoting an actual hoverboard.

I set it as the "wallpaper" for Aviate, which is square. Now I need more b&w phone icons...

Given that they have the aerodynamics of a brick now, I'd bet 20% is significant.

Yeah, but I shouldn't have to work to see where a link is pointed. There are other ways to get outbound analytics. Granted, most of them aren't great, but they are doable.

Like sitver said, they're likely using them to track outbound traffic. It's just like those go.redirectingat links.

I'm actually missing a ton. Top Gun is on there, as is The Godfather. Also Armageddon and Dune (Which I've actually tried to watch a couple of times but keep getting interrupted, so I think I get partial credit for.)
My wife hadn't seen The Goonies until just a few weeks ago, which made me feel... a little better...
