Well played!

It's pretty great until you open your online banking. I was told that my net worth was ~=a low-end bicycle.

I love it. "Beer or this?"

It seems like this would just make a more awkward way of gripping the lid, and would force you to rest (parts of) your fingers on the super hot lid, instead of the pretty hot handle.

I've been using Picasa for that. It's not perfect, but it's good enough™.

This is where android's multiple account feature is awesome. Offspring has his own login without a credit card attached to it.
As a side bonus, he's able to keep his pictures and game saves separate from mine.

I've been using Sleep As An Droid since you guys recommended me to it (http://lifehacker.com/5760593/sleep-…). There are a dozen apps like it now, but it still works well for me—it wakes me up at a good time, but it has an escalating alarm that starts REALLY quietly, so it hardly ever wakes my wife.

My camera bag doesn't have a way to hold water/water bottles, but does have a holder across the bottom for a tripod. I'm planning on making a water holder that fits in there (4" pvc fits well) with a camelbak-type tube & bite valve.

When I asked my optometrist for ideas to keep me following the 20-20-20 rule, he mentioned to start the day with a glass of water. When you later get up to pee, have another glass of water (and so on). It's not much exercise, but it does get you up and moving, as well as making your eyes refocus. Also, hydration!

Can you tell my wife that? She points out my grey hair for sport. I keep reminding her that most of them are because of her, but that gives me shockingly little leverage.

Shveet. I'm going to the Air Races this weekend. Fingers crossed, weather permitting, and stars lining up right, I should have something for this challenge! :D

Jerks. I think I'm going to move. No more "alright, I'm switching to phone tethering for a bit; this is ridiculous".

Our mall has a bounce house with that exact course. It. Is. Awesomesauce.

Also, my mom still has dial-up internet. It's ok though, since she has an internal modem?

I work at a smallish credit union. We have (and use) electric typewriters. we also have the exact model of fax machine you called out in this article. I weep.

I use 3g watchdog. It's not the prettiest, but it works. I tried out Onavo for a bit, but the problem is that there's no real option for roaming—your only option is to move to a separate plan (say, per-megabyte). My carrier (U.S. cell) just rolls everything under the same 5GB cap, so every time I'd leave the area it
