A picture of offspring and the wife napping in the bed together.

I'm currently using some hokey rsync scripts that shove everything onto a hard drive that I put in a safe deposit box.
I could (and definitely should!) set time machine back up so that I have some sort of local backups too, but right now I'm kinda using the "hope nothing goes wrong!" method.

I love me some time machine. I need to get an external drive so I can start using that again.

I've been using Sleep As An Droid since you guys recommended me to it (http://lifehacker.com/5760593/sleep-…). There are a dozen apps like it now, but it still works well for me—it wakes me up at a good time, but it has an escalating alarm that starts REALLY quietly, so it hardly ever wakes my wife.

I was wondering what that was, thanks!

It's all I can see...

My wife's allergic to adhesive. It's definitely a thing, and not an awesome one.

I wish I still had the link, but my favorite comment came from when curiosity first landed on mars (and the crashing boosters made a dust cloud that almost kinda looked like a UFO).

My camera bag doesn't have a way to hold water/water bottles, but does have a holder across the bottom for a tripod. I'm planning on making a water holder that fits in there (4" pvc fits well) with a camelbak-type tube & bite valve.

He apparently wears it that way on purpose—he likes watching it float around, as if by magic.

You guys are going to make me put this here, aren't you?

So perfect!

Mine is "Watch out for that bear trap" from Cannibal the Musical.

That was wonderfully weird. Thank you!

It's been far too long since I've seen a homestar runner reference. Thank you for that!

The only thing that can stop a belligerent drunk idiot in a tank is a happy drunk idiot in a tank.

When I asked my optometrist for ideas to keep me following the 20-20-20 rule, he mentioned to start the day with a glass of water. When you later get up to pee, have another glass of water (and so on). It's not much exercise, but it does get you up and moving, as well as making your eyes refocus. Also, hydration!

Can you tell my wife that? She points out my grey hair for sport. I keep reminding her that most of them are because of her, but that gives me shockingly little leverage.

Shveet. I'm going to the Air Races this weekend. Fingers crossed, weather permitting, and stars lining up right, I should have something for this challenge! :D
