It seems pretty obvious that companies would sell more manual transmissions if they offered them in the performance oriented trim instead of the base trim and engine with the least power. Manuals are for enthusiasts now, not people who don’t want to pay more for an automatic. That thinking ended long ago.

I listened to this podcast. It was scary, but there are far, far more horrible, racist cops than there are doctors like this. Yes, there are bad doctors, but a doctor this awful is very rare.

It depends where you live. I can tell you for sure that when I go outside in the winter and it’s 3 degrees, no manual transmission is feeling smooth as silk right away.

I have a 2015 BMW 335 with a 6 speed. It only feels a little stiff when it’s very cold out and only for a short time even then.
