And neither are words I regularly use! (But my autocorrect was happy to force its opinion in there.)

Sorry to hear this week’s comic wasn’t enough to eek a laugh out of you, Tooth. Maybe next week!

Plus I did the whole thing in response to Netflix releasing the trailer for their American liveaction movie adaptation...

I don’t think I quite perfected Hartman’s style (all the characters are still pretty off model) but wow! I appreciate that compliment, nonetheless!

Thanks, guys, glad this week’s comic went over so well!

This is an interesting conversation, because it’s one I’ve seen crop up a lot. “They’re just roms, they don’t cost anything! Why does the Virtual Console take so long/cost so much?” People strip away the value of old games because they’re so easy to acquire for free in less-legal channels.

I’d love to play Konami games.

I intended them to all be games from different companies when I picked, but they’re sorta right: Hudson and its games got bought up by Konami, so 2/3 are now Konami games.

I doubt any other company has the resources to build a location based mobile game that isn’t 100% corporate sponsored locations. Niantic was uniquely qualified for this in a way “Nintendo” (or rather, The Pokémon Company) never will be.

I’m still playing. Less so with it being colder, but I still see other players out (and gyms trade hands) albeit in lower numbers than the initial craze (and the intitial craze had plenty of drop off even weeks into the release.)

I better get Chansey for Easter, then!

Hahaha, I’m the real one. I try to stop in each week to check feedback on Nerd Rage here.

The thing is, enjoyment of these is purely subjective. I enjoy Penny Arcade more often than not.

Back when the lineup was selected it was done by vote.

Bungie said characters would carry over.

I heard the suggestion they should hype it up like it’s going to be a Trump episode, and then find ways to completely skirt Trump appearing or being mentioned by name. And to be honest, that might almost be funnier than going the direct route.

That wasn’t supposed to be a defense for Gamestop and their shady practices.

Most businesses aren’t buying low from the same people they’re trying to sell high to.

Oh, I can’t argue with that. There’s a reason I shop through Amazon and Best Buy and not GameStop, afterall. Amazon Prime’s new game discount alone makes GameStop obsolete.

It’s a lot easier for Best Buy or Amazon to offer a better game buying experience. They’re normal retailers. They don’t rely on game sales to get by.
