Aside from one big win against a badly-struggling Iowa team, Wisconsin has played like garbage their last ~6 games or so. Oregon hasn’t lost in basically 4 weeks. I fully expect Oregon to beat Wisconsin in round 1.

The way he put that really exaggerated southern twang on the word “boy” leads me to believe he knew exactly why it was a problem.

I made the mistake of going on Reddit this morning, and it seems like their line is “They were pretending to be alt right to sow division. So if you accuse them of being alt right, you’re playing into their hands”.

He was nearly fired after last season. I think he was basically told this year that it’s his last chance to win a tournament game or he’s gone. Nebraska has already been contacting other coaching candidates, so he’s basically been fired already.

Bracket Matrix has Indiana as an Out. St. John’s, TCU, Seton Hall, and Minnesota you might as well say are within an error margin of NC St and Clemson. They’re all in the 10-11 seed range from major conferences. Those spots are pretty much interchangeable. Any of those teams getting dumped in the first round of their

I don’t know if injuries are a huge concern. A broken ankle like what happened to him is a freak thing and not really indicative of someone being injury prone or anything. I’m just wondering if we get another Lil Wayne interview after Baker’s first bad game and Odell’s stat line is 3 targets, 1 catch, 8 yards.

Antonio Brown was 100% going to sit out next season if he wasn’t traded. Odell was a malcontent, but he probably would have played for the Giants next season had they not traded him. AB tanked his value and put the Steelers in a more desperate situation than Odell put the Giants in.

I don’t know if there’s a limit to how big your walk-on program can be. You’re limited to the amount of scholarships you can give out, but if you have non-scholarship athletes that don’t make the team, I don’t think the team gets penalized.

This is kinda different. It’s not just that the kids were sub-par athletes. I bet most of the kids had no idea that they were admitted into the school to play lacrosse or water polo. They probably never went to a single practice or even knew where the fields/pool were. It seems like the kids didn’t even play these

Jay Glazer’s career has always mystified me. He shaves his head in the morning, goes onto Fox Sunday NFL Kickoff (or whatever it’s called), reads the injury reports for each team, and then collects probably, what? North of $1 mil/yr? What does he even do that the ticker at the bottom of the screen can’t do? Are there

Carson had zero qualifications for his current job. I feel like when Trump was selecting cabinet members he said “Ben Carson lives in a house, and he’s one of those ‘urbans’. So he’d be a good fit at HUD!”

What’s the target viewing audience for the combine? Relatives of the players? Really hungover frat kids with an NFL Network subscription?

I’m far from a good cook, but I swap in Greek yogurt when a recipe calls for mayo and I have yet to find an instance where that doesn’t work.

It’s a routine now where every time I have a meal out that I have to ask “is there mayo on that?”. A couple years ago I got burned by some Cal-Mex place that put mayo on their tacos. There’s absolutely no food that restaurants won’t try to ruin by unnecessarily adding mayo.

Exactly my thought. Not every athlete starts off from the exact same template. Should Phelps have been banned from swimming because he was gifted with a huge wingspan and gigantic hands? If having higher T levels gives Caster a 3% advantage, I’d imagine being a woman basketball player that’s 6'8" gives you way more

If that’s taunting then Steph should be getting like 5 T’s per game.

I’m just saying I’ve watched a lot of basketball before and I’ve never heard anyone analyze a basket with “as the ball leaves his hand” when determining the distance of the shot. It’s always been from where the players feet are when he takes the shot. Hypotheticals are very valid here, because it could change a lot of

I know it’s not an out of bounds play. I’m just saying it’s an analogous situation because it has to do with where a player’s position is on the court and how that position is treated by the rules of the game.

So based on that wikipedia article, if Steph Curry has the ball with his heels on the line when he jumps, but

If Wade had been standing with his left foot out of bounds and right foot in bounds, picks up his left foot and brings it back over the line (but doesn’t touch the ground) and catches a pass from another player, the play is a turnover. Why is there the discrepancy between these two situations?

If Wade catches the ball

They can beat Milwaukee on the “any given Sunday” or “they’re all professional players for a reason” sort of logic. But unless Giannis gets hurt down the stretch, Milwaukee will be heavy, heavy favorites assuming Boston makes it out of the first round. In fact, I’d say it’s much more likely Boston gets bounced in the
