UFFFG this car pops up for sale every year or so. I so desire it. The below was one of the first youtube videos I favorited...and subsequently watched on an almost daily basis circa 2007.

Ok my question is going to be stupid, but here we go. When someone adds and exhaust and what not to a diesel does it automatically do this? Is this going to ban any modifying of diesels? What about diesels from pre emissions era like early diesel pickups?

The best part was the place that the owner bought it from was “Rice Toyota” according to the license plate frame. Source: I saw it this weekend too and threw up externally.

Not every day you see a whale sphincter cast in aluminum.

I loved the manual steering! What did you think was not so good about it? I thought it wasn’t too heavy (though I’m used to much worse) and I thought it communicated pretty nicely how much grip was at the front wheels.

Chevrolet 1.4L Ecotec Turbo is pretty old school. This thing lags like crazy... it’s geared to “cruze” around at about 2000~2500rpms all day. So when you need the go juice, you mash the gas, and it’s like nothing nothing nothing... ALL THE BOOST!!!

Obligatory:

$10k more for Lambo doors. Why didn’t I do that?

“basically anywhere in the northeast, where the roads are produced with approximately the same quality as plastic grocery bags.”

So what’s the over under that these won’t need to be discounted to move. Cadillac seems to have a problem where almost no one seems to think they are worth the asking price, no matter the asking price. My gut was telling me $75-78k and I’m betting that’s what dealers end up having to let them go for.

Jacking the price up my not be a bad idea at all. Cadillac has been struggling in sales against their target competitors. In the luxury realm, it’s well known that a lower-priced alternative is seen as possessing lower value. If anything, maybe they didn’t raise the price enough.

Get the fuck out of here.

This thing was pretty interesting to hustle around COTA. It’s beefy, but it’s quick, and handles about as well as a vehicle that size probably can.

I’m not sure you understand the Gravity of this situation

Well they can’t have good memories from Simo Häyhä.

Why? Both times they did so, they won. Wasn't easy (the Finns definitely punched above their weight), but the Russians (or more accurately Soviets) won.

You’d think the Russians would have learned not to mess with Finland by now.

No No No! This is bullshit, it looks shit, and the given reason is shit. Supposedly this is accommodate a V8. There are plenty of UK Land Rover tuners who have V8 conversions in the space given. Twisted, Nene Overland Icon, Urban Truck and JE Engineering’s Zulu. These use Chevy LS engines or in case of Zulu JLR’s SC
