Only if they put a proper manual or DSG in it this time. No slushboxes.

@TexanIdiot25: What, you thought I was implying that Jalopnik had photoshopped the logo on there? The point was it looks like they hadn't made up their mind when they did the photoshoot. For the love of fuck I'm not so retarded that I think they still haven't made up their mind, you asshat.

@skaz: It's intentional, it's the logo for the C6.R race team:

Looks to me like the "ZR1" logos were photoshopped on after the fact, I guess they wanted to keep the name secret as long as possible (or they hadn't made up their mind).

Awesome, but the wheels and the lame-ass polycarbonate window-to-nowhere have to go.

@PeteJayhawk: The current model M3 has an SMG option that Clarkson tested IIRC.

Actually, Rancho Cordova is the wonderful suburban paradise where I was ticketed for an illegally loud exhaust, and had to waste a morning going to the state referee to prove that it was, in fact, well within the range of legality.

Um. Keep your f-ing $5 gift card and let me not soil myself thinking you're going to find the 5 kilos of coke under my passenger seat. The only reason I'm obeying the traffic laws is because I specifically do NOT want to get pulled over. Not a difficult concept.

Since when has the Motor Trend [something] of the Year meant absolutely anything? My buddy in high school had a 1974 "motor trend car of the year". Guess what it was? A Mustang II.

Probably illegal. You can't have more than a certain number of 'forward facing' lights on the road, I think it varies in each state but I believe it's 6 in most (2-each: low beam, high beam and fog). IIRC it doesn't even matter if they're turned off when you get pulled over, you have to have them covered up (yellow

@Dr.Danger: the point is that you can have a race in Singapore that Europeans can watch live. Even with the excessive lighting it should still be fun to watch.

@rkwadd: In the case of the Tahoe/Suburban/Escalade/Whatever hybrids, it's 'a' and 'b', I'd be really curious to see what a standard Tahoe with the aluminum body panels and enhanced aero package would register on the EPA tests. I'm guessing that 'b' in this case is almost as important as 'a', at least on the highway.

@rkwadd: And besides, I don't have a problem with people who admit that they "want" a car, it's with the people who claim they "need" it.

@rkwadd: Oh I have a huge problem with snotty Prius owners too. Or people who buy a Camry hybrid and slap a giant-ass "HYBRID" sticker on the rear window because it's not "hybrid-enough" to be noticed. I think greenwashing your life by driving a prius is just as stupid as buying a Gelandewagen to make school runs.

@rlj676: @danio3834: The argument isn't against the people who buy these vehicles and actually utilize their capabilities, it's against the 95% of people who buy them and never even come close to using them for what they're intended, but who claim that they "need" something of this size/power.

Oh hey, I know where that is, it's right next to Starbucks...

Looks like an electric 'Bu, which wouldn't be a bad thing.

@lounatic: Agreed, there would certainly seem room for SOMETHING between the $30k (with fun bits) 350z and the $70k GTR. Maybe a bat-shit-crazy 350z nismo (but better than the current nismo).

@gherkinfiend: "Oh and does anyone else think this just looks like an American Apparel ad?"
