Good points, I find that I do not go to brew pubs because I do not want to drink alone. My best friend is sober and my wife does not like beer so I stopped going out since I do not have friends that go to bars/brewpubs in groups. I am a gen xer though. 

I work with a local tavern and their claim is definitely more as a restaurant than as a bar. 

I don’t know if i would get tired of the same food daily, but i would definitely start to crave other things. Maybe that is the part that eventually builds up distain for your every day food.
