I don’t trust peoples hygiene & health common sense, the many times I have gone into stores with bulk bins & have seen customers helping themselves after coughing or sneezing into their hands isn’t appealing. Combine this with anti vaxxers who skirt reality & it’s apparent better solutions to zero waste shopping are

The problem I see is mainly in the sanitation, while it’s fine while the zero-waste lifestyle is still bougie I would expect that like most mass consumer ventures it ends up getting gross quick. Someone brings in a jar they store lettuce in that has salmonella and suddenly now the produce section is infected with it

No way, Jose - I had plenty of frozen orange juice as a poor kid and I always hated it, turned my back on it entirely when we had enough money to afford the not-from-concentrate stuff. Simply is marginally better than Tropicana, but both are leagues better than the best frozen OJ.

It’s already got a theme

Want to thaw them anyway? Put them in a bowl (not a colander) in the sink under cold, slowly running water. They will thaw in about 5 minutes, less time than it takes to heat the broiler.

Same thing here in MA. No problem at all

+++++ for the reference!

Way too sweet, and I like sweet.

Yeah in my experience it’s all about crust and cheese:  You have great crust and great cheese and your sauce and toppings can be kind of meh but you’ll have good pizza.  You have great sauce and toppings but your crust and cheese aren’t very good?  That’s trash pizza right there.

So a beautiful bunch of ripe banana doesn’t hide the deadly black tarantula?

And that’s why I only want the bucket if it has the “mom’s day off” image I remember from the 70s.

Fine if you like beans—they give off a rotten flavor with my taste buds, therefore I avoid them in all things. You would not believe how many people try to force them on me “But you haven’t tried MY beans!?” Hey it ain’t the sauce, which I am sure is delicious; it’s the friggin’ beans... Back off. I certainly don’t

I did. I don’t like beans in my chili because it mostly just goes with hot dogs.

IMO the taste and texture of pinto beans doesn’t marry well with the flavors of hot dogs. But that’s just like my opinion man.

Chicken nuggets are ground chicken, boneless wings are whole breast.

Nah I got some pretty well seasoned pans. I can drop pretty much any vegetable, and any proteins short of eggs and fish in there without oil and there will be no serious sticking.

Not enough #sponcon

Make sure that your pan is hot, and evenly so, and use a decent amount of fat or oil with it. Also keep in mind that no matter what people like Dennis (or literally everyone over on r/castiorn) say, the pan is not going to be “nonstick”. It might be less-stick than others, but for some things (eggs, in particular if

What’s the cleaning like with carbon steel pans? The reason I still use non-stick (I was gonna say “stick with non-stick” then realized) is because I hate cleaning my cast iron skillet, part of that is its weight which the carbon steel won’t suffer, but part of it is just that I don’t want to spend all that time

They literally give you free food for virtually nothing and its far easier to order on the app than through the drive thru. Also easier to customize items as well. As long as the app is well built and easy to use, its a net positive
