Yup. A 90s Ranger can do 1.5 yards of mulch, but not 4. And you have to be sure to empty the bed that same day, or you’ll have 2 flat rear tires by the next morning. Not that I know that from experience or anything...

Yeah, but to be fair the Gladiator is both overpriced and ugly as fuck.
I loathe the fact that I was born in the mid-1980's, meaning I am stuck with the millennial moniker. Did I really need to be lumped in with a bunch of white guys with viking beards, dreadlocks, and Thomas Edison’s clothes, who take 3 and half hours to brew a $20 deconstructed cappuccino?
I dare you to haul four cubic yards of anything in a “classic” Ranger, considering a 2000 K3500 can’t fit that much in an 8’ box.
I see we’re dealing with a professional here!
lol.... “millennial”. That’s funny! Let me put this way, I was born before they landed on the moon. And I ain’t talking about the Chinese.....
Depends if you keep the kids
I moved to Austin, TX from Germany in 1991. Back then, a Ranger in stripper trim (no A/C, 2.3l I4, manual transmission, manual locks, manual windows) would get the teaser ad treatment for a buck under 10 grand. And so would a basic Escort (with similar trim). Neither was readily available (usually just one per…
Hi, I’m Jimmy from Jimmy’s Manure Delivery. All of our vehicles are Dodge Journeys, because they’re crap before we even load anything in them.
I've been thinking the same but I've decided on an Express for my next work truck. I just prefer pushrod NA engines for high-torque, low rpm applications. With the cylinder pressures the EcoBoost gets it might not last the 200k+ I'm expecting. Also I believe the body on frame van should have a higher tow rating.
I pass out free candies to the kids. Is that ‘non commercial’?
With the Free Candy flying out the back.
I’ve got to think the Express is bulletproof and the Transit while it looks more modern, is also going to cost a lot more in maintenance over time with the turbo-6 engine.
Nice. You smoke the tires so that the mom calling the cops can’t read your license plate.
I’m sure I’m in the minority, but I prefer the Express to the Transit. Just a classic look.
And, huge capacity numbers. My experience is that the Extended Wheelbase, with load-balancing hitch, is simply the best towing rig this side of a gooseneck set-up.
Meh, I drive in NYC all the time. Trade vans have the serious advantage of being completely uncaring of what they trade paint with. Everybody yields to White Van Man.
Chevrolet Express;
Now I’m torn between the Ecoboost equipped Transit, or this behemoth. Either way, van burnouts are in the future
Engineer that can’t spell? Listen, we get it, you like Porsches. You’d have a Porsche over a Chevy, as most people that care about a badge more then performance. The C8 isn’t for people like you, it’s for people that want to embarrass you at a track, at a stop light, and want a car they can drive daily. If the Cayman…
