Elliot is my favorite character, so I too want him to be happy at some point, for realz.

I KNEW he had modeled his character after his own mom! Glad to see it verified. I remember what he said about her in his standup routines and it just clicked right away for me when I first saw him play her in Baskets.

Noel Fisher's new gig seems like a snooze fest, so maybe he will come back to Shameless at some point. Here's hoping. Ian's new romance has zero chemistry.

People in Minnesota say Pop too; of course we are pretty close to Canada :)

Le Sigh. Disappointed in this last episode, and I was so willing to drink the Koolade. I actually liked the previous one better, even with the dancing cowboy hokum.

I watch this show mostly for Louie Anderson's excellent performance. He might be channeling his own mother a bit, judging by some things he had said in his old standup routines. I really want him to win an Emmy.

See also Don Rickles and Rodney Dangerfield's standup acts, and maybe even Abbott and Costello, if I am not mistaken.

I admit I have become one of those who watch this while doing something else. I usually catch the first 15 min. so I can see the Ichabod deals with modernity shenanigan and then turn off the sound and watch the rest while talking to my sister on the phone. Hence I missed the Abbie pledges herself to a symbol deal.

P.S. I hope Marnie and Desi meet with some kind of honeymoon mishap and go missing for the rest of the season. I will not miss them.

I found the wedding episode so disappointing that I feared this show was jumping the shark, and so glad to be wrong with this week's offer. There were so many good moments and I enjoyed reliving them with this review. Dunham is still brilliant and makes me laugh out loud. I am excited for the rest of the season.

WOw. I guess some actors really do go to extremes to avoid being typecast… #Iamnotharrypotterimafartingbonerthing

I look forward to seeing anything by Kevin Smith, or Margaret Cho, for that matter. Awesome!

"F**king Jessa!" I know, right? If a friend of mine had ever hooked up my boyfriend with someone new while I was away they would soon be an ex-friend.

I was wondering what the holdup was. Shameless is back on Showtime and HBO is just…. what? meh.

I love this show. And as long as there are still stories to tell and dialog that makes me laugh, I can deal with the characters not growing much.

It has been so long since any new episodes aired I was beginning to wonder if the show had been cancelled. I'm glad it will be back.

Zach on The Strain is the absolute worst.

That opening scene was so "oh this again" - so cliched. But I continued to watch as there was nothing else on and it kind of sucked me in. Second episode available on Showtime on demand already. I liked the second episode better. I expect that when more of my favorite shows return I will drop this one, though.

Just a thought. Sean may have "fallen off the wagon" because he is addicted to sex as well as drugs. Feeding one addiction sets off cravings in the others in a chain reaction. I've seen it happen.
