Floyd's death was more shocking to me because the gutting seemed unnecessarily cruel, unlike a quick gunshot to the head.

Since no one else has mentioned it, and I know it happened last episode, but it had a bearing on the continuing story. The way Hanzee looked at Peggy before he asked for the haircut it was almost as if he was in love with her. And then she stabbed him with the scissors….

Re: Peggy. There is a special brand of crazy-eyed housewife that Minnesota seems to spawn - Michelle Bachmann anyone? http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j…

The Quarle's Gun?

Gah! Math!

As improbable as Quinn's rescue was I was glad for it, and all I really needed from this episode. Though it would have been nice if they'd let Saul slap Allison around a little more before they broke it up :D

I hope the show gets a third season. I have enjoyed all the WTF moments.

Magic?

I'm loving Pablo and Kelly so much as Ash's sidekicks, and it's such a well-rounded trio that the lady cop just seems superfluous. I'm ready to be wrong though :)

I didn't really "get" Clara until "Listen". I still am not that fond of her on her own but I like the relationship between her and this Doctor. good insight; love your name and avatar :)

OOOOH, you guys are good. It's either from his book or it was all just a dream. I really do love the AV club commenters (for the most part, ahem) - even if we all don't love the same shows.

Me too! About the waiting for Homeland bit. For those wondering why I dared to trash their beloved show but still have the audacity to watch in anyway, THIS. The Affair is always on after I've watched Walking Dead and The Leftovers, etc. and am waiting for Homeland. I realize I should probably just read a book or take

"Dr. House" anyone?

*giggle*

Interesting perspective on the "reliable narrator" front. I will have to give that some thought. Good insight. Maybe that's why I spontaneously posted (after being silent up until that point on this particular show) that this show blows. I was finally presented with "the big picture" and felt the impact and the ick of
