It’s kind of a bummer that after last week’s great episode, we see this retconish, duct-tapped, Frankestein monster episode.

I agree. While Marvel’s output is very entertaining, they’re all the same movie.

This episode was really, really good. I loved the direction and score and the self-awareness that came with an episode titled International Assassin. This episode finally gave us an answer to a question we weren’t sure we were asking: was there meaning to the Departed event? According to Patti, there was, and it was

This was a very Lost-type episode (in fact, all of this season has been like that). We focus on Kevin and on his relationships, and how he patches everything up with Jill, Laurie and Nora. He also puts his palm print on the passive-agressive innocent list. Then he dies. Thus everyone gets closure.

Very much ahead of its time, Baten Kaitos is often overlooked (much like the Gamecube).

There goes my hope for another movie based on another childhood shitty cartoon

I am truly shocked a live-action version of a somewhat popular cartoon from 30 years ago, that inexplicably nostalgia-goggled itself into our current popular consciousness, and in search of a quick buck got made, turned out to be a crap movie.

Can’t help getting aboard the hype train even though I reached peak Star Wars a couple of months ago.

Disagree. I love his posters, but it seems that he just drew whatever Disney told him was allowed to draw at the time.

I enjoyed last season, it was engaging and it got better as it approached the end, but I admit it was very flawed.

I never really got over how bad that poster is (even though I love the artist). There’s no sense of connection between characters, no grandeur.

This is the best Star Wars thing to come out in 20 years.

How about Arthur Dayne? I only bring it up because the ToJ scene is rumored to appear this season, a *fairly* important scene featuring the greatest knight in Westeros, which would only require him for that scene.

Arthur Dayne.

My SO does not like The Dark Knight (which I love), hates Pacific Rim (I hum/sing/make general noises that sound like the main theme) but loves The Fifth Element (also amazing).

How about a good script?

Do I look like I give a damn?

I gotta say, they might pull a nice save with putting Bruce in Metropolis at the time of Snyder’s attack on Superman’s character.

I’m reeeeally getting tired of the “SAVE US RICK, ALSO NOW WE HATE YOU RICK, NEVERMIND PLS SAVE US K?” storyline.

mediocre!
