What’s Behind Marvel’s Campaign To Remove The X-Men From Merchandising?

I don’t think Max was a sidekick in his own movie. He was more of the, ahem, vehicle through which we witnessed Furiosa’s journey. Which is in line with previous Mad Max films (excluding maybe the first one).

Mad Max. No contest. I saw both and Avengers is a good enough spectacle, but Mad Max is an experience so different and uncompromising in its insanity that it blows Avengers out of the water as a movie.

*raises hand*

“What makes this particular clash interesting is that it may be setting up a confrontation between the Pope and the religious right in the United States.”

Liam James is the best actor probably, but Nat Wolff has a lot of charisma so maybe he has a better shot.

For starters, no coherent plot. I don’t even know if it counts as plot.

It made me so happy too! But it just makes me think that he’s going to Dorne, and that Areo guy has a very sharp-looking axe. I just hope that they don’t bring him back just for a shock death.

Put millionaire playboys with strange nocturnal habits in it.

This is perfect.

So last year a group of people gamed the system, and this year another group of people did the same, but with a different goal.

I've said it before and I without a doubt I'll say it again. Eisenberg is going to steel the show.

Odyssey 5. Like the show itself, this post will be too late to catch anyone's attention.

This trailer actually turned me off a little bit (I really enjoyed the first one). I'm a little unsure why that is though.

A io9 split from Gawker would make my day much, much better.

I hope they take out the whole "in love with death" angle. It only makes sense if you're 17, high and really digging how some things are really out there maaan, like, the universe is big big, not just big.

...Sinister Six movie still on...

Let's pretend the Amazing Spider-man movies never happened... aaaand let's also maybe pretend the second half of Spider-man 3 never happened.

Don't know how The Raid will inspire him for Preacher, but this is a good sign.

I have to agree on Joe Blake's character. He felt a little bland compared to Juliana and Frank, who are much better at expressing the hopelessness of it all. Although that might be on purpose since Joe is a double agent and simply doesn't feel the same way they do about living in Nazi America.
