absolutely correct. That is how I saw it as well. She's play acting as a fake latino when she is really from Ohio

This was a fantastic episode. One of my favorite ever. Probably because they dispensed with a lot of the normal Veepspeak and let the documentary and the vote itself tell the story.
I only saw the first episode, but C+ seems harsh. The readers grade is much more in line with how I took the pilot.
Your name is great at least
I'm not sure of your point. BCS is one of the best shows on television and Silicon Valley is just great. I haven't watched Mr. Robot.
he definitely isn't talentless but I admit that after his first two albums he fell off my radar screen. Then I found out he just put out his 7th album and the two songs I saw him play were excellent. I really need to find the time to catch up on what he's done and doing.
It was interesting that in the episode there was a framed poster in the offices of the Dolls/Nasty Bits show, so clearly people would have known it wasn't going to be just one band performing.
I'm sure others agree with you. But I am hardly the only person who has criticized the writing.
Amen. And I will admit that I was disappointed with the restraint showed by Bryan not to eat that pizza while listening to Brody babble. I probably would have walked over and grabbed a to go box.
This was not great. It wasn't really very good. If you want to see great, you start with Breaking bad, Mad men, Rectify, early seasons of the Sopranos and several others that I'm forgetting.
Perfectly put. Get some quality writers from AMC or HBO and man could they do something with this cast.
That is giving these writers a lot of credit.
The best thing about that episode was the music. Courtney Barnett and Titus Andronicus were great choices, even though they hacked the s**t out of Dimed Out. The rest of it was typical of the show, great potential but weak writing and execution. Mr cool Axe promises to everyone close to him that it would be…
If this show had been inspired by the Mats it would be a lot better. This is based in a completely different era, but it is just missing something. Richie and the Replacements seem to have at least one thing in common..shooting themselves in the foot time and time again. OTOH, Richie's character hasn't demonstrated…
whatever. I've seen people tell me she was gorgeous and hot, which is equally as offensive. She's somewhere in the middle.
Meltdown by Slobberbone should be on this list.
You have to be kidding. That stuff stings and telling someone to GTFOI is ridiculous. Everyone reacts differently and I know when it happened to me it took a lot longer than a few weeks. More like 6 months.
Unexpected baby fever is usually a sign that the show has run out of gas. Not surprisingly HBO just canceled this. I agree. The show was never that great, but once they turned Amanda Peet into a sad panda, it was all over but the shouting.
Sahlens are the best. If you have to eat hot dogs, which I do when I visit Buffalo those are the only ones to get.
I used to eat at jafafa in downtown buffalo in an old food court. My brother had two names for them, either "slime dogs" or "repeaters". The latter probably is easily figured out.
