Completely agree.

All of this.

We are absolutely allowed to ask for what we want, just as we are allowed to decline requests we are not able for whatever reason to grant.’

No? No one deserves anything.

I agree with everything you said.

The idea that the person struggling is a bad friend because she’s not doing things she used to so (a literal symptom of the disease she has) is a bad friend is SO, SO ONE SIDED, PRIVILEGED, AND RACIST.

First, let me iterate that the Tweet Friend’s mental illness and disabilities are not specified.

Mmmmno, after reading a third-hand anecdote about a situation, regardless of what personal, social and medical experiences of yours seem relevant to the situation, you cannot definitively say her behavior is a symptom and not a choice and it is frankly ridiculous (and invalidating) of you to try to do so.

As a bisexual man, I found this to be unsettling for similar reasons. And sad, really sad for OP.

I consented to being tied by my wrists to the headboard of a lady friend-with-benefits’ bed.

“as if I had used up that week’s happiness in one night”

A vibrator, heh.

No, it does not affect your immune system.

If this is your first trip, okay, absolutely not.

The Regression has a nice ring to it.

I’ll counter with the banana marshmallows (???) you can get in candy shoppes for 5¢

I am right there with you on the layers. I have nearly come to blows over someone mixing layers of my food. Watching people stir yogurt in front of me is barely tolerable.

I do this but exclusively with refrigerated or frozen items.

I do a very similar M&M thing.

It is by sheer chance than none of the victims died from internal injuries.
