Enjoy your status quo, then.
As if there weren't countless of examples of minority coalitions working within Canada, either.
Exactly why isn't Jagmeet Singh a viable option?
Exactly, if someone doesn’t think the NDP does not have enough traction to gain seats in your riding, there is literally something they can do to change that.
Yes, thank you.
Yes, because there are people who realize there are more than two parties.
If all the Canadians in this ridiculous thread (and off, sadly) who are saying they ‘don’t have a choice’ but to vote for Trudeau voted for the NDP you would have a very radically different and progressive country starting on October 22.
In California they are, apparently, which made for a confusing time for me during my time living there with my very Arabic name, and self-identification as brown.
This is ridiculous. So instead you perpetuate a lose-lose scenario, where you yourself confess to be u happy with your choices of whom to vote for?
The NDP and Greens can form a government without either the Liberals or Conservatives.
A majority is not a prerequisite of forming a government in Canada. You are perpetuating a myth
They really aren't faced with that choice at all.
In Canada, I discovered brown is a term reserved for people of Middle-Eastern/Indian/South Asian descent, but excluding Filipinos and South Pacific nations.
He also knew full well he had done this.
He hasn’t reconciled... anything. He treats First Nations people as disposable. Reconciling would mean actually solving the water crises on the nearly 100 reservations that have no potable drinking water, for one.
Re-reading this comment, the irony of your statement is particularly striking considering your province elected a third party, the NDP, as a majority.
What exactly are you defining as winning in this scenario?
Saying this as a european with middle-eastern descent, this is pretty atrocious. As was his non-apology. He can take his enthusiasm for “costumes” and get the hell out.
Or of course Canadians can vote for the third, fourth, fifth etc options since Canada is not a two party system...?
