Huge cred points there, well done!

Agreed. i was about eleven by the time, and "TRash", "Street Demonz" and the like, while being classics, do feel of their time and place.

I have in my accumulation of data, a bigly sum of alternative facts that informs me in a manner both subjective and questionable, that the Englehart and Rogers run is hugely awesome, yet is still bested by the Grant/Breyfogle ticket.

just want to chip in :

"i was all , yeah, cool, justice for the wronged, right on, but then the swimsuits come out and i was like whoa is it hot in here or sumthin" - 90% of the viewers

Pretty people emoting, that's my jam, y'all.

Wow Supergirl is in this?

Just listened to the one available on Spotify, but will investigate further. Thanks sir.

i just listened to XTC's Skylarking earlier this year and havent stopped since.
Plus, also rediscovered the fine indie of The Ocean Blue, particularly the first 3 albums

10,000 Maniacs' unplugged thing also doubles as a neat resume and surpassses the studio versions of the songs, IMHO….

A true REM rarities disc should include:
1. Photograph (with Natalie Merchant)
2. Outtakes from the MTVUnplugged broadcast
3. Rockville (Mike Mills solo acoustic from TV)
4. Fall on Me (Live featuring Johnny Marr)
5. All singles with live Stipe vocal from the videos
6. That Stephen Hague version of Catapult, just out of

Plus, on that note, how about Your Ghost from that Kirstin Hersh album?

Got a Golden Palominos retrospective back in the day.
Anton Fier is such an overlooked talent.

I thought the studio version of PErfect Circel was good, but then i heard the one they did on MTV Unplugged.
The backing whooshes by Mills and Berry took it to a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL.
Pure bliss, that one.

Fretless is absolutely magic.
Wouldnt trade it for Shiny though.
Because, like, Fretless was the classic REM song that was known to REM diehards only, and we kinda want to keep it that way.

Thats a great one-chord tune.
Plus, listen to it back to back with 10000 Maniac's Eat For Two.
It's kinda like the same topic from opposite prespective

IT's real joy, not contrived joy.
I love that song so much

Monty was fantastic. Hey, did you catch the convo on twitter between Car Seat Headrest and Mike Mills?

The Carpenters, man.
So tired of them being lumped with other saccharine groups.
One attentive listen to KAren's vocals… one of the saddest, most beautiful things ever.

Hell yeah, it never fails to crack me up.
