Angela had spent the entire season looking for a purpose. The look on her face makes me think White Rose may have given her one.
Season one made a kind of linear sense. It was a fairly conventional thriller plot told over multiple episodes with some really cool twists.
If what you thought you were going to get was more of that, I can see why Season 2 would be disappointing.
I, on the other hand, am staying on this ride wherever it goes.

I only read DC via the collections, and it's almost impossible to follow anything or even know what to read. Everything is released as a stand-alone, and they often try to hide the original book numbers.
