They've been building this particular engine for years. It's crazy that the world's largest carmaker can't make more of them. This isn't any worse than the failure rate of startups in general, and is right in line with the failure rate of manufacturing startups. People tend to conveniently forget this fact when the talk about this sort of thing.

Still gotta wonder where the money comes from. Inheritance? Blood money/crooked official "investor visa" garbage or offspring as such? I can't imagine legitimate boostrap success with such demeanor, not to mention flamboyant douchey taste. "Businessman" is often a term used as sarcasm, or euphemism at best.
