No it is a V. I would not consider a six banger CTS to be a really "speed" oriented car. Although I'm sure they have respectable performance numbers.

As far as the STS-V is concerned, the price might be nice but the Automatic only is a slight disappointment. Just my $0.02.

My dad just got one of these with 60k miles for $21 grand (a 2006 model). It even came with a lingenfelter intake and corsa exhaust. What a motor in that thing. It's too rich for my broke college student self, but it's damn cheap for what it is.

100% agree. The hp per dollar ratio is unbeatable on LS1 F-bodies. The only thing that can compete performance-wise is a terminator Cobra and they go for almost double the cash.
