I can't believe it. A rational and experienced afterthought on an article concerning police procedure (+1 for that). I swear, it seems like everybody else just wants to talk about this one time when a cop pulled them over and was such a meanie face.

+1. Best reply comment of the day.

But....my batmobile is faster!

I was hoping this would be vehicular darwinism helping to weed out the overwhelming population of automatic E46's. I am now sad.

Fear not. Your audience is quite pleased. Carry on.

Dick too big for a corvette huh? So you must drive one of these?

Is that a little side-nip is see here?

What are the pink ones? Fire department?

Everything you say is true. I'm honestly not sure why I care because I would never drive any late model trucks anyways. It is the older diesels that do it for me. So the rest of them can have their glorified mall crawling trash bag haulers.

You better tell them you are trolling or else somebody is going to break out the ban hammer.

No, the only manufacturer to do so was Chevy with the GMT-400(88-98) 1/2 tons. The motor was an indirect injected 6.5L turbo diesel made by Detroit Diesel.

To me it is more of a principle issue. Everything in the automotive industry is turning into a beigified crossover one way or another. Making the Ram more like a car is one more step in the devolution of trucks.

+1. #8 is a massive fail.

My dad just got rid of an 04 Passat wagon that was the worst sub 50k mile car our family has ever had. Handled like shit, not good looking, slow and unresponsive slushbox and was in the shop atleast once a month. Finally convinced him to do the right thing and get a T56/LS2 CTS-V.

Cummins was developing a 5.0L V8 for the half tons. Sadly I think they axed the program. Damn shame. Could have been a game changer. Unfortunately GM killed off the 4.5 Duramax V8, too. Looks like 22 mpg is the best we are ever going to get out of a full size pickup.

This one takes the cake as the most boring Passat if you ask me.

I know it is the most obvious answer. But how is this not on this list? I mean it could at least take the place of the Land Speed Record Cars.... I mean come on, that is a pretty cool looking vehicle.

Man the Ram has really gone downhill. I mean the air suspension is kind of cool, but it will never make up for a fully independent suspension on a truck. Shameful.

You know they are very pretty. But just to big and too automatic (in America). If you know what I am saying.
