Probably not, as MacBook Pro's ship with i3 Sandy Bridge CPUs, which means they are officially supported. Small chance it won't, but I'd recommend it as a casual upgrade.

If you built a hackintosh without knowing how to install a hard drive, I am very impressed.

Technically, you don't need "specialized hardware", per se, meaning you could innocently make a regular DIY PC using these components without incident. The argument could be made that any combination of PC components could run Mac OS X. The problem arises because, unlike Microsoft, Apple chooses every single component

You can do this in OS X Safari simply by right-clicking on the window title. Doesn't like Hash-bangs very much, but it's built-in. I thought this was featured on Lifehacker previously.

Whenever you deviate from a guide as specific as this you run the risk of instability and lack of support. I use a 9800GTX+ which works fine with GraphicsEnabler enabled in the com.apple.boot.plist, and you might have the same, but be sure to Google your potential GPU + Hackintosh. As long as your motherboard's PCI

I'm honestly not sure if you can software-overclock OS X, but the motherboard should be able to do it on a hardware level. Just google the motherboard and recommended OC settings.

I'm not sure about the author of this post, Adam Pash, but I know his colleague Whitson Gordon uses a hackintosh as one of his primary machines. As long as you get your build solid, it'll be as reliable and powerful as a true Macintosh.

You have the EXACT same components as the tutorial above?

Not at all. Any standard Windows keyboard will preform admirably. Only major difference is the modifier key of choice. On Windows it is Control (Ctrl), on OS X it is Command (Cmd, ⌘). Control and Alt keys are rarely used on OS X. Therefore, if you are using a Windows keyboard with OS X, to do any common keyboard

They have laptops with the power button on the outside?

AT&T only has EGDE where I live (they promise 3G in Q1, I has a flyer!), but T-Mobile has nothing, nada, zilch coverage. Verizon/Sprint actually worse than AT&T.

Currently, all iPhones except for the CDMA variant used by Verizon have the ability to officially tether the cell data signal, carrier permitting, via USB dock connection or Bluetooth. In the US, this usually costs about $20 extra per month.

Windows?

As a 17 year old, I can attest that I would find this awesome. If, however, I had had this since I was 6, the neato effect would have long worn out on me and I would be solemnly asking my parents if I could sleep in the guest room.
