@Hiphopopotamus: Most people in urban environments can get 6Mbps internet for ~$30. For WildBlue only areas, the same speed isn't offered, but they do have a 1.5Mbps package, for $85.95/month + $175 upfront (2 year commitment).

@Hello! My name is Anonymous: As a "rural" person (lives outside a Michigan town of 200), I find your comment incredibly ignorant and demeaning. Stop watching Green Acres and stop thinking every southerner's cousin is also his wife.

@nbergseng: What is a farmer going to use with 20Mbps internet? I assume exactly what you are doing with it.

@Hiphopopotamus: It's also ~$60/month, which is why people in my pop. 200 town don't use it.

@R94N: OS 10.4 yes .

@Kardster: You have to render a file before you can down convert it, or else how would you know how to? I don't think it's possible to selectively read an h.264 video file in this way.

Mmm… Tiger...

@romevi04: The fact that last gen's iPhone could render a 1080p video tells you the A4 defiantly could.

A4 can't handle it?

@clearzero: Android circa Dec 2007 (~ 1 year after iPhone announcement)

Yes, I do post this image for every Jesus-written Lego article.

Perhaps an iPad list in the future?

@shafiq265001: Why don't you just open a free checking account at a local credit union. Get a Check card for it for online purchases.

@mjsd555: Steve would never use WiMax in his products. If you watch the D8 interview, he talks about choosing the technologies of the future. He said in in the context of HTML5, but I'm sure he thinks if WiMax as a stepping stone, something not worth investing the time into. Apple will catapult straight into LTE.

@OMG_cartman: There's no doubt that there will be some LTE in January. What I'm wondering is if Apple might see this as an opportunity to make a little more money; selling a CDMA iPhone now, then heralding a new beginning with an LTE capable phone in the future, to milk a little more money from us.

Perhaps it's meant for a Chinese model? They all run using CDMA as well.

Anyone know Grand Rapids, MI? No, not really? Well, about pop 200,000. About an hour away from me.

@Addzter: Nope. Kat's based in the UK.

@spyguy99: With Time Machine, you'd have 2 methods of restoring your Home Directory. If you ever have to Reinstall the OS, Wipe the entire drive and, at the first boot of your new install, restore your Home Directory from a Time Machine backup (it's a selection on the Welcome Assistant). You could also drag and drop
