Ouch. This could be their Netbook killer. The $500 iPad was just a bit too expensive for someone who has to leave in 3 days for a last minute business trip and doesn't have a laptop. The $300 netbook was almost an impulse buy at their prices.

@minneapolisite1: I would use iTunes for the sake of simplicity. Unless you're an Audiophile, simple AAC 320kbps would go great, as cv said. If you plan on using only iDevices and you're a stickler for audio quality, Apple Lossless is fairly efficient.
