I once owned one of these, equipped with the Iron Duke and an automatic. It was dubbed the Celebriduke Eurospud. I haven’t bought a Chevy since.

Reminds me of that old TV commercial for the AMC Gremlin: “Hey Toots, where’s the rest of your car?”

What an inspirational story! Congratulations! You’re making me want another XJ (I’ve had two). Glad you got it going again.

I hope it’s a recoverable error. Sounds like it is. We learn by doing.

I wanted a 4-door GTI, but I bought a 2-door and am very happy with it. Which will be killed off sooner by the SUV: the 2-door coupe or the 4-door sedan? (Yes, I know the GTI is a hatch, but still.)

I know it’s gross how it happened, but I’m really glad Krypto’s back. Woof.

My favorite thing, as William Shatner once said, is that Star Trek is “about something.” It was morality plays disguised as science fiction.

I approve this message and wholeheartedly endorse its platform.

Of course he’d say that. He’s doing a Batman show with no Batman. Li’l Bruce Wayne should inhale the same stuff that’s making Poison Ivy suddenly older, and get suited up, pronto.

This looks like a job for James May!

Now that’s a bastard love child.

I felt kinda bad about these until they started getting really funny.

If kids today didn’t have DVD players and video games to keep them occupied on long trips in SUVs with the family, “Camry Dent” would make a fun spotting game. But to me, it seems like the kind of game that should be played in the wayback of a station wagon.

Star Trek Beyond, because the filmmakers found the spirit of the 60s TV show and incorporated it into a modern Summer blockbuster.

A Saturn with all the options.

Since it’s at Star City Auto Sales, I think the seller should claim it was once owned by Green Arrow.

It looks like a big Saturn to me.

Sorry to see you go, Doug, but best wishes on the new gig. I really enjoy your writing. Keep up the good work, as they say.

God bless America. Or Canada, in this case.

I adore your writing, and I agree with you. I’ve got nothing against people storing them as investments, but they were made to be driven. Can’t wait to hear about the E34 (I had a 525i once...)
