I bought a 2010 MkVI in February of this year, so my vote goes to that one. Not as advanced as the current model, sure, but a lot more affordable.
I almost voted Nice Price because of this phrase: “It’s the Axis of Awesome!”
It’s like Volkswagen’s version of the Galapagos Islands.

I actually owned one of these things, I’m embarrassed to admit. Not the VR version, mind you, but a regular Eurosport with the Iron Duke 4-cylinder. It was the last Chevy I ever owned. We nicknamed it the “Celebriduke Eurospud.”
Oooh. I love the design of the E34. Almost bought a 525i wagon once. Still regret it.
