I do two simple things that add up to quite a bit each year. 1) my bank offers a round the savings thingy where in all debit purchases have the change from the nearest dollar sent to savings. So if I do a debit purchase for $10.37 then $0.63 goes to savings. Additionally, I take all coin change and put it into a large

There's just one problem with this. The govt doesn't pay you interest on the money. So at the end of the year you get it back, but if you took that same $50 per check and put into a money market account you could make a nice percentage on it. Or add it to your 401K/403B allotment and you can totally defer the taxes.

Ironically, today MarksDailyApple.com had a success story that was based on financial savings. Pretty interesting idea. At 18 the guy saved 1% of his take home pay. Then he added 1% each year. 20 years later he's savings 20% of his take home which was 19.5K for him last year and he's now seeing some nice compound

And when you're all done you get to shovel your driveway again... awesome!!! Twice the work...

Yes, I know I was a d1ck with that... its a talent few possess but one that I constantly strive to perfect... :)

So since this article is about "The Best Jailbreak Apps and Tweaks for IOS 7", but you're raving about a product that hasn't been updated for IOS7 and therefore can't be used with IOS7 and therefore would not be a "Best Jailbreak App or Tweak for IOS 7"... you're basically wasting the time of everyone that reads your

But you can buy a tethering app... like TetherMe or MyWi (when its updated) and pay one time instead of monthly. However, most shared data plans these days (at least from AT&T) now including tethering. So if you've still got unlimited data or you prepay, then go with a one time payout for an app to do it. If you have

Interesting. I had both at one point, but had issues. Maybe they've been sorted out now. I'm only running CCControls right now... Activator had an update the other day that brought a lot of stability to my iPhone...

Actually, that was one of the first things I saw on Cydia... was updated on Jan 1... go check out "IOS 6 Theme (IOS 7)"... gets your IOS6 icons back. Requires Winterboard which was crashy until MobileSubstrate (now Cydia Substrate) was updated, but that was done a few days ago. Very stable now...

Check out "SMS on GV 7"... its not free ($2.50) but was recently updated for IOS 7...

Here's how you can make your 4/4S/5 act like the TouchID on the 5S. Get Activator, choose At Lock Screen, choose Single Press under Home Button. Now when you do a single press of the Home button, it just opens right up like the TouchID sensor does. If you don't care about Siri but want to be able to wake your device

I'm waiting for a way to get my Favorite Contacts on my lockscreen. There's the old Favorite Contacts for Notification Center, but it hasn't been updated. LockInfo had this functionality, but its still being updated. I really miss being to wake my device and click a contact picture and choose from Call, Txt, Facetime,

SwitchSpring has a weird quirk. By design, it won't kill iTunes so your playing music won't stop. This is a good thing... unless iTunes is not the last app listed in the Switcher. SwitchSpring will kill all apps in order from left to right up to iTunes and then stop. This makes it appear to only be partially

1) Don't use CCControl and CCHide together or you'll end up in reboots and safe mode. Until the dev's work together on the conflicts, its one or the other, not both.

BatterySafe would be much more functional if it could automatically turn those services back on after the battery is re-charged. I used it one night and it kicked in and worked fine, but then I charged it overnight and woke up to nothing... til I remembered I had cellular, bluetooth, and wifi off... which also meant

Nope... I meant ½ Tablespoon, not a teaspoon. Honestly, the first time I heard about the "bulletproof coffee" idea(s) I thought "ewww, gross". But then I tried it... mixed in a blender... 16oz of black coffee, 2 tbsp of organic coconut oil, and ½ tbsp of turbinado. It had a different flavor... nothing like anything

Its worth noting that caffeine is not coffee. My point is that the article is about when to ingest caffeine, yet the article and comments all seem to refer to coffee or tea. At a purely caffeine level, we might want to talk about something like "no dose" as its just caffeine. However, coffee often also has cream or

Try a little black coffee (about 1-2 cups worth; no cream or sugar) about 30 min before your workout. After your workout, try one of the bulletproof coffee ideas... basically add butter or coconut oil to your coffee. The butter/coconut oil is a medium chain fatty acid that provides longterm energy. The flipside is to

As others have pointed out, this is based on an assumption about when people wake up. The question to ask is how long cortisol stays high when first awakening? If its 2 hours, say, than your optimal time for caffeine intake might be 7:30-9:30am if you awaken at 5:30am. Another factor is *how* you wake up as this
