I have one of those I bought new in ‘88.  Heavy as hell but it served me well through grad school and a few years beyond.  I gave it a straight MTB handle bar when the quill failed to hold the stock handlebars, then changed it into an upright city bike with cruiser bars now it is being reborn as a really heavy gravel…

I have an old Schwinn Mesa Runner vintage 1988 or so that I’ve owned since new.
