I used to have friends that were a "conduit for problems".  Eventually I learned.

Does anyone know the purpose for the vertical plates that cover the first 1/3 of the locomotive? They are not on all locomotives that much I know so I think they are optional, but why?

I test drove a 2013 Nissan Versa stick just to see what all the hubbub was about. Drove on flat terrain at speeds under 50mph. Definitely meh, but I can understand why some folks buy them.
