my understanding was that many of the larger suvs and trucks were exempt from fuel economy standards bc they are so large to be considered ‘commercial duty’ instead of family duty.

well we can agree or disagree on much of what you have written. personally i do not see much of that happening because i cannot forsee anyone in office agreeing that we should allow fuel prices to rise, or that we should make a drivers license more of a ‘skills’ test than it already is.
