That’s not an 80s Buick.

well no wonder, it is quite practical but looks like crap. put them side-by-side. which would you rather drive?

Had not thought of that angle.

I like it. Combo of body color and black dots or holes that fade to give the illusion of speed and are in the same general shape as the grill pattern. Kudos. Good design as far as I’m concerned.

$ can trump options. I understand that. Money and time are the 2 reasons I settled for silver. But why wouldn’t the same lease deal be available on a car with all the options you want that could be dealer traded from somewhere else? Or were there no cars in that configuration left anywhere?

Red/cornsilk 6mt was something you could order. So technically was available. However, there were none in the system nationally. Same for blue, or grey on grey. No new ones we being made or orders taken for new manuals until the next model year. I did not want to wait that long literally months.

For me the question then becomes can I or the dealer find the color I want and the air suspension in a vehicle elsewhere and make a deal for it with the other dealer? I don’t have to take what is on the first dealer lot.

Agreed. Seems silly to settle if what you do want is offered. Unless it is technically ‘offered’ but never available.

It’s true. Last gen Accord was available w 6mt only in black or silver. Other cases a mt is not available locally, regionally or nationally in the exterior / interior color combos you want. That is oftentimes due to the fact that mt cars are made in batches bc there are so few of them. If it has been awhile since a

someone i know has a crosstek just like this color. i cannot help but think they bought it at a deep, deep discount. the color just looks - unfinished to me.

fight hard!

if color is the only thing you are concerned about then yes i agree w you.

that’s not two tone. that’s one tone with a shit load of cladding or chrome.

ive never seen a green interior on a c3 corvette. that would take some getting used to as i assume it is on a green exterior.

but please no velour. lived through that era once. do not want to repeat.

agreed on the lack of cool interior car colors. saw a 3rd gen corvette being advertised a few months ago. boring ass silver but i clicked through the pictures anyway. whoa, what’s this? red interior? and yes that was stock from chevy. damn. that car really did look quite good - even in silver. esp with the conv top

no. they don’t. sorry.

love that color on a big ass cadillac. actually looked for one with a grey interior and a slick shifting manual trans. they are rarer than hens’ teeth.

i have to think that a color filter was involved in that xr7 picture

i’m thinking my next car might get vinyl wrapped. then i will get the options i want with the color i want. color is but an option.
