actually that is a good point. when chevy was in europe they made a wagon out of the cruze - i wonder how it fared? it is already designed selling it here would only help pay down the costs and since chevy is still selling the older model as cruze classic they could easily add a wagon variant. i would be all over that…

you can get a cruze hatch in L, LS, or LT with a manual but not the top of the line Premier trim. i think i could live with an lt manual cruze hatch in orange.

larger than a golf. think more jetta-like in terms of size. sat in one and it is smaller than my 2013 passat but larger than a golf.

If I take the buyout and pay my passat off I will have ~$8,000 to buy a replacement vehicle for myself. I don’t think I can find a vehicle for that cost that is equal to or better than the passat I am driving now.

my understanding is that gen1 motors with the low NOx trap only ie no SCR urea injection systems are not fixable. Well, anything can be engineered but adding a SCR system where one doesnt exist is cost and space prohibitive.

so the 2015 gen3 tdis can be ‘fixed’ albeit probably with some loss of power or performance (one adjective not used in the vw release above).
