I was unaware that trans people were being exterminated in this country...interesting...and here I thought October was just breast cancer AWARENESS month.
Are a lot of people arguing for their death? Honest question and not trying to troll.
This take sucks and I’m on Peter Thiel’s side now.
First things first... this post was absolutely not up at 9:30 pm or when the Modern Family post was put up. So nice job back-timing it to sneak in below the other ones.
Gerrymandering means nothing in a statewide race. Did the borders of Texas change?
I’m pretty sure the 17th amendment says Senators are elected by popular vote. There may be other means of suppressing votes, but I’m not sure how gerrymandering had any impact.
Err... just to point out, but gerrymandering can’t and doesn’t affect Senate races, which are by their very definition statewide. Whether Beto wins or not against Cruz, there’s no impact from gerrymandering, just the borders of Texas and who votes therein. Which isn’t to say that Republicans in Texas and other states…
How does gerrymandering affect a statewide Senate seat? If Beto gets more votes, he wins, right?
In N Out and Wisconsin.
Given his love of Hochuli, I can’t see Kavanaugh closing the gun show loophole anytime soon.
Dude, if he’s already scouting Wright State, Wisconsin Green Bay, and Northern Kentucky, his March Madness bracket is going to be sick!

We were also a “Regular Nintendo” and “Super Nintendo” family.
Was the same in my circle back in the day although I now say N.E.S. or Super N.E.S. from time to time. I remember after the Super Nintendo was released we referred to the NES as “Regular Nintendo” to differentiate from the Super Nintendo. I’m not sure if “Regular” Nintendo was a my family thing or if it was more…
As a fellow highly competitive male, you either need to: A) Do what you’ve done and stop playing co-ed.
We don’t hate women, not all of us, we just hate the awkward double standard. Beat a woman at a sport and its expected, lose to one and you are ridiculed. Let her pass you and you get called out for being to easy on them, give a hard tackle and you are bullying. It is a no-win situation for men.
The women on our soccer and softball teams were huge handicaps. They struck out in softball (they were given 5 strikes just for being girls) often. They couldn’t field, pass, or do anything effective. I joined co-ed sports to hang with friends and co-workers but to also compete in something and try to win.
i wonder how much of this is attributable to urban planners intentionally fighting against sprawl by favoring mixed use developments over new subdivisions. i would think this trend causes the housing cycle to stall out; people staying in starter homes longer because the housing stock on the next rung is bottle…
