I agree and I think it has a lot to do with being able to tell what someone is at a first glance. Irish/Italian/French people can all look white to me. I might see someone who is all or some or one of those ethnicities and not know what they are; they just look "white" to me.

I'm not saying it's right; I'm just saying how it is. I'm not condoning it, just trying to explain it.

Whatever. This chick just totally annoyed me. Not every guy who is trying to move past you in a crowded venue is trying to hobnob with your cooter. It's just common courtesy that instead of shoving past someone and seeming rude, you might place a calm hand on a woman's shoulder, or somewhere safe on her person. This

The reason why no one brings Mr. Holmes' "whiteness" into the discussion of his crimes is because whiteness is considered default in our society. It's too widespread. An Asian murderer is one of only a handful of ethnicities; a Middle-Eastern killer is as well. But a white male, he can be Italian or Irish or Russian

I get it, I guess. It takes the "bad boy" appeal to its extreme. Oh, look at this guy. He plays by no one's rules but his own. He just does whatever the F he wants to. There's a sexiness to that level of disregard for the law. Then there's the "I'll make him good" voice in the heads of these women. There's something

So you don't think uneducated women (and by uneducated I mean no college and maybe even not having finished high school; that means no GED either) are more likely to make bad decisions in their life than educated women? I know a lot of what causes a woman to make bad choices in the men she chooses to date has less to

I don't know much about the state of ND but are we sure that their refusal to publish that wedding announcement was homophobia based and not legality based? If same-sex marriage (which, as a bisexual and unceasing supporter of GLBT rights, I wholeheartedly support) is illegal in ND, maybe it puts the paper in an

They chose Prince because they couldn't think of any other one-syllable artist that would fit in that line of the song. That's why they chose Prince. These people don't listen to Prince. Trust me. I mean don't get me wrong; I don't listen to Prince either (I never "got" the appeal) but these kids definitely don't.

I know a girl, she's a friend of a friend. She is 32 years old, and has 3 kids from 3 different men and is dating a new guy. She is of low-intelligence and uneducated (not even sure she has a high school diploma). She DOES choose bad men BECAUSE she is dumb. I'm sorry for thinking that. I am not saying ALL dumb women

Personally, I don't "get" Louis CK, either comedically or romantically. But that's just me.

I'm not going to lie. I watched Season 1 of G0T on HBO Go, and I always thought Khaleesi was a beautiful name, (even though that's not really her name, just what they call her).

Whoever that guy is, I love him.

I give it a day before someone points out that women have already been fucking like this for years.

"you're clearly using your distaste for fat jokes as an analogy for why some people may be bothered by rape jokes"

I am not a rape survivor, so I can't presume to know what that's like, and because of that I'm sure my opinion will incur a rash of yellings, but here goes. I don't think Tosh wants women to be raped. I don't think Tosh wants that heckler raped. I think that Tosh made an insensitive joke, one that the rest of the

The power of Christ compelled her!

The U.S. was not founded as a Christian nation. This was clearly echoed in the 1797 treaty the U.S. forged with Tripoli, which was signed into effect by John Adams and drafted by George Washington: "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in

Awesome.

If I'm being honest, the only ones I agree with are 9 and 10. If I went on a date with a guy I'd expect him to pay, yet I'm also demanding "equality." But I'd be pissed if he didn't pay. Not because I think he necessarily should, but because by now it's sort of customary. But that's not really fair to the guy I guess.

What I want to know is why is it that the villain is the fat one, while Ariel is slender (in a weird shell bikini top)? Ever notice that? The "good guys" in Disney movies are always conventionally attractive. Fat people are used as either villains, fodder, or both. Think of Smee in Peter Pan. What's his role, really,
