I haven't seen that yet, it's on tv tonight where I live.

David Tennant's final words as the Doctor have apparently become a jokey catchphrase now.

That line got me too. I might never be able to hear anyone say that line without getting a little emotional.

I know right. It was like that old footage you see of girls freaking out when they see the Beatles.

I have never been more of a fangirl than I was when Tom Baker appeared. I was laughing and crying at the same time.

I've got this exact same problem. Awesome idea for a graphic novel, just not sure how to move forward with it. And my idea is pretty epic and multi-threaded as well.
My plan for tackling it (I haven't started it yet, I'm working on a different novel that I want to get finished first, but this graphic novel idea is

Having a baby is the worst kind of writers' block.
I thought I would be able to write so much as a stay-at-home mother. All those nap times, you know! But it turns out that it's not so easy. There's always something else to do, and it's impossible to get lost in a story if there's a toddler asking you separate two Lego

I'm participating, it's my first year doing it.
I'm only at about 20k, but I'm pretty happy with that because it's still about ten times faster than I would normally write. And hopefully it will set the pace that I'll write at for the summer, before my classes start again in February.

I've just came back to say that I went and rewatched the movie again today, and I see your point. I wouldn't call it Americanisation exactly (partly just because I don't want to offend people), but I think it was a Hollywoodification. And that didn't work so well.

I agree. It's been years since I've seen the McGann movie, and I don't remember it being that great. But when I was watching the prequel the other day my immediate reaction was that I wanted to see more eighth Doctor. He did a great job.

I used to live in a place where we had no stove (or fridge or much else) in a our kitchen. We only had an electric kettle, because I cannot survive with tea, and a rice cooker.
I used to make all sorts of things with that rice cooker- spaghetti bolognaise, steamed veggies, boiled eggs, rice of course. Even grilled

Babies don't need to breathe until after they're born. While they're still attached to the placenta they get their oxygen from their mothers.

That is the worst. I have a sleep disorder that sometimes affects my life pretty severely, but I don't like telling people because they invariably go 'try meditation' or 'there's an app for that' or 'you should go for a walk before bed' or whatever else they think will fix me.
I usually just smile and nod politely.

It's not even photoshopped well.
Her boob seems pointing in the same direction as her face, even though it doesn't have joints required for that.
And there's a leg that just disappears behind the guy. You can just make out a foot, but it's in totally the wrong place.

Is that pronounced with a hard c, or as ç?

I'm almost never right about this sort of thing. But it would be cool!

The Governor doesn't have his own army anymore, so we probably won't be seeing big human-human shoot-outs.
In the clip for next week we see a zombie walking into a fire, followed by the Governor standing in front of a burning house, so I'm going to speculate that has something to do with him luring the zombie mega-herd

That doesn't really make them onomatopoeic, since they're not words that imitate other noises. But maybe they're primitive words? Sounds that are human instinct-based rather than language-based.

I was sad the amnesia storyline is over too, I was hoping they would keep it and use it as a chance to completely reinvent the character. And he was a way better character with amnesia I think.

Just like real life, now that I think about it.
