It’s interesting to see the responses here, suggesting that Fisher is in fact some kind of attention-seeking drama queen and not a man who has basically destroyed any career he has in film by pursuing this. And make no mistake: he’s done. No one (save Snyder whose own future isn’t exactly secure) will hire him after…
Cyborg was always known for being in the Titans until New 52, when he was upgraded to the Justice League written by... Geoff Johns. There’s some hilarious irony for ya.
Blame the New 52, where they swapped Martian Manhunter as a founding JL member for Cyborg. The New 52 was widely considered a failure but, for some f’ing moronic reason, WB has decided to take so many of its cues from.
I mean, all of those character have much, much more history with the Justice League than Cyborg does. I don’t get putting Cyborg anywhere but the Titans, but that’s where all of the latest adaptations have been most reluctant to put him.
Having a platinum trophy be obtainable and reasonable should be the expectation instead of some mark of servitude to a game.
Sure, but ultimately to what narrative end? I personally would rather something different than Sith machinations being the root cause once again of trouble. Heck, we have other DS Force users in canon if we really need that.
Wakanda FOREVER.
This one really hurts, too. So young, so talented, and he always seemed like such a stand up guy. I fuckin’ hate this goddamn year so much.
I’ve never felt more moved coming out of a superhero movie than Black Panther on openng day. Boseman didn’t create T’Challa, but he made him totally believable as a character -- noble, compassionate, and brave -- and as a figure who could mean so much to so many people, not just lifelong comics fans. This is…
My new t-shirt idea: “2020: You Never Thought It Could Suck This Much.”
This fucking year.
Disney bought Marvel in 2009. MvC3 came out in 2011. MVC3 is a post-Disney acquisition product. I find it hard to believe it’s a coincidence that Feige publicly discussed contemplating Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, and Guardians projects as early as 2010 and then some of those characters got introduced to the franchise the…
Four! Swords! ADVENTURES!!!
People who want a remaster to be a complete different game baffle me. “Our Crash Bandicoot remaster now lets you fly and you have 30 health points.” If they said it was a remake, that would make some sense. But remasters are just a modernized version (usually in terms of graphics, sound, and conveniences like online…
*puts this in her blog topic rolodex to bust out as we get closer to DA4*

Between white guy Sunspot and Storm acting as “a sadistic jailer,” I’m increasingly convinced that Boone never actually read a New Mutants story, or any X-Men comics for that matter.
My dream Fate? Goldblum.
Even though I wouldn’t normally spend $22 on a game like this, I’m buying it precisely for what you said at the end: I feel seen. As a brown/desi guy, I never see my culture in video games apart from, like, monsters in Shin Megami Tensei/Persona. And I guess that one Assassin’s Creed side scroller? But this is the…
