Do y’all understand that board games aren’t real life? Like... I can play a board game that tangentially involves slavery and not endorse slavery. That is possible.

These arguments tend to sound like a parody of themselves. There’s some good intentions here, but the hyper specific language used and out of left field “zelda is colonialism” hot takes are repellant and out of touch.

Some of these games don’t even have online components. I am confusion.

Huh. Kinda like the rebuild of evangelion movies.

It’s mind bogglingly confusing. I opened the new UI and it offers like eight categories of things in no particular order. For some reason classics are in two separate categories. There’s no option to just “show me all the games” and let me filter it. And the PS1 and PS2 offerings are the same stuff they’ve been

I thought gamecube and dreamcast emulation was dodgy? And I’m convinced the people who buy these devices don’t actually play them. Every time I try it’s so complicated to set up and the emulation is so hit or miss it’s more frustrating than fun.

Blocky PS1 style models?! Well now I’m interested.

Right? For some reason that scene came across as really dumb and out of place, in a movie with a million dumb and out of place things.

The Sword of Symphony videos are just a vague, underbaked concept. There’s really not much special about it. Also, the Dr. Strange scene in question is probably the silliest scene in the movie. I actually forgot it even happened. And it’s definitely not he first time this “fighting with music” concept has been used.

So their “classics” are literally just the titles that have been available on playstation store for 10 years? Groundbreaking.

Frankly I’m not surprised. The character designs for Overwatch always seemed like random traits drawn from a hat.

How do they all have such petite noses?

Is this real life? This feels like a parody.

Her voice sounds straight up bad in this. Very strange.

I’m glad to hear you can switch to the classic background graphics. That was my main reason for having zero interest in this port. The backgrounds look dazzling on a crt tv and even look fine on a small screen like the PSP or Vita. But these remastered ones look like one of those dream ai things. It’s ghastly and

Huh. I... like them? They look like real shoes and not something a cosplayer glued together.

I wasn’t aware Platinum could use assets from a SquareEnix game. EDIT: Oh it was published by squareenix. right.

I never liked open world games until I played Elden Ring. They always made me feel overwhelmed and like I was collecting a check list of things to do. The only “open world” sort of thing I liked was exploring a big, generous mmorpg like Lineage 2 or Lord of The Rings Online. But those always devolve into cash grabs

Every time I see news about this game I confuse it with God Fall, another bad PS5 game that looks and appears to play awfully similar. Such strange choices.
