You'd think with a name like Krystal Ball, she would have seen that one coming...
That generation of the Ford Taurus where everything on it was shaped like a football... that was pretty 90s.
I've found AMC guys to be the nicest. There is too much rivalry between the Chevy-Ford-Mopar guys and they can spend more time bashing each other's cars than actually talking about their own cars. I haven't met any AMC guys that do that.
Well it's awesome. I would seriously hang one on my garage wall for decoration. Nerd status achieved, I guess.
Degrees marked on the crankshaft pulley. Mind blown. Why doesn't every car have that?
I had left two Canadian-market-only unicorns and one very large prototype bear at home since they were outliers from the average size of the Puffalumps and wouldn't be an accurate measure of space compared to the others. Yeah, I've actually been thinking the same thing. It's in the garage, so the lighting is hard to get right, but I'll see what I can manage.
Thanks for your interest. I do have another blog where you can keep up on the progress. 85eagleproject.blogspot.com. I put that in a reply on this thread but for some reason I'm back in the grey. Anyway.
I've been keeping a (non-kinja) blog about it since the process started back in the late summer. It's at 85eagleproject.blogspot.com, if you'd like to stay up to date. I appreciate your interest!
I'm restoring one of these right now, a 1985, and this is the same color scheme it's going to have when it's finished.
