STID that they made it.
STID that they made it.
The machine in the dream is just a sensory manifestation of apparatus that already exists as part of the dreaming mind. As you say, nested dreams are already possible without the machine. The machine in the dream is symbolic of the mental apparatus.
Not a plothole though. Silly sure, but no real lapse of logic within the film's universe/reality.
That's not a plothole though. The alien is basically a bio-mechanical creature, so obviously it's body is resistant to the corrosive nature of it's acid. Besides, plenty of animals aren't endangered by their own poison/venom. Plus, we humans don't die by our stomach acids because our stomachs grow more skin cells…
Yes, but the last half of the season was so awesome we don't care.
When starships lose all engine power and become adrift in Moon's orbit, it falls to...
In 20 years the Jedi went from a galaxy spanning police force with significant political influence to a myth, as well. Erasing that kind of stuff isn't quite so easy. Han Solo would even have been alive when Jedi were around yet he doesn't believe in them.
It is the super black hole of all plot holes...sucking in logic and all rational thought. I could literally feel my IQ dropping. Damn, there goes math and common sense.
Signs. Aliens to whom water is acid...Okay. What do they do about the natural humidity in the air? Is it like being in a vapor bath of acid all the time? Why do they not wear alien hazmat suits, then? They clearly understand aerosolized poisons, as they try to use them on the asthmatic kid. I don't even.
Obi-Wan Kenobi meeting R2-D2 and C-3PO in the Phantom Menace but somehow never remembering them.
Immortal Khanblood! Death and disease is now obsolete!!
Star Trek Into Darkness is definitely up there. It serves up a whole Maw of gaping plot holes.
Juliette Lewis is 40? Fuuuuuuck. How old am I now? Fuuuuuck.
Unfortunately, heavy drought followed by torrential rain is also a problem.
Sadly, there are some in society today who view higher education in the same way - a method to entice young people into liberalism and socialist ideas. Better to stay stupid, says the part of the right.
I would think the best way to stop a Predasaur is to create a mecha-Predasaur. Or salvage what's left of a good Predasaur and implant its brain into a armored robo-Predasaur. Also, why not try good ol' fashioned piloted robots with rocket fists?
This is great....except in MN, where you will not see that rock buried under 3 feet of snow for 9 more months...
Didn't Neil Degrasse Tyson already cover this topic?
Bacon and the Machete is my new band name.
Is that what happened? I missed that. I thought that C. Thomas Howl shot Renard instead of going wesen on him because he figured Renard would use his powers back at him. But with Trubel, he just saw some young woman that he could off with his wesenality and didn't need to waste any bullets on. The bad wesen seem…
